Students were very compliant and routines were evident across the board. Students were doing what they were expected to be doing.
Student engagement within real world application or post grad readiness could be improved. There is potential to provide students opportunities for goal-setting and self-evaluation skills with teachers “actively monitoring”.
Schools are exceptionally inviting and welcoming – staff was friendly, students greeted people in hallways and classrooms, and schools were well organized.
Despite the welcoming staff and students, the middle school physical building may benefit from additional updates/improvements.
The student survey scored teacher to student relationship very high. Students have a trusted adult and parents expressed their appreciation for the staff and school leaders.
Community involvement improvement through outreach, family nights, etc. Opportunities for transparency in community partnerships, especially in the area of how students are receiving social emotional supports and what partnerships are available in the community for family use.
