Monte Vista Students attend the Skills USA
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. MVHS students attended the conference and made contacts with industry leaders and were shown from vendors and other schools how large the CTE Skilled Trades sector truly is! The entire club helped set up the Plumbing, Electrical, TeamWorks and Carpentry events! Students participated in the following events: Job Interview, Technical Related Math, Carpentry, and Quiz Bowl. Sydney Woodke was chosen as the State Skills Vice President and the full awards list will be released as soon as we receive it! Great job kids!
